This week I participated in a Dollar Store Fall Craft Blog Hop! Myself and 6 other bloggers have such different takes on our crafts--hope you will stop by--mine is a Fall Wreath:

Also, I want those who are affected by recent hurricanes, fires, and earthquakes to know that you are in our prayers.  I am from Jacksonville, Florida myself and I know that there is much destruction there, as with many other areas.  Praying for the safety and well-being of all, humans and animals.

Okay, onto the party!

Debbie at Debbie-Dabble Blog shared such a unique Halloween decoration --I love it!

Don't Sweat the Recipe shares a recipe for delicious Roast Beef Sliders with Horseradish!  This photo makes me hungry............

Roast Beef Sliders with Horseradish Sauce - A creamy, spicy, horseradish sauce, layered with thinly sliced roast beef covered with gooey, melty cheese in a hand size toasty bun. #gameday

Painted rocks are the "bomb" right now where I live and so I thought how appropriate for me to choose this post by Try It--Like It.

If you were chosen to be Featured, please copy and paste a button on your blog to tell the world!

Dollar Store Craft Blog Hop: Fall Wreath

Hello and welcome to our Dollar Store Craft Blog Hop!  We hope that we bring your some crafts that will brighten your day and perhaps give you some ideas for your own crafty ways!

We are participating with these amazing bloggers:

Please visit each blog above to see their very special creations to celebrate the upcoming Fall season!

Now, onto our Dollar Store Craft:

Fall Wreath

Supplies:

One green foam wreath--I used a 10"
Two bundles of silk flowers, Fall colors
One Scarecrow (mine came in a pack of 2 at Dollar Tree and were on wooden dowels which we removed)
Burlap ribbon
Decorative ribbon (I had some on hand that was orange and 1/8" wide)
Straight pins
Hot glue gun and sticks

Begin by wrapping the burlap around the wreath form.  I just used 2 straight pins to hold my burlap ribbon in place:

After that is wrapped, secure the end again with a straight pin.  You can also use hot glue to hold the ribbon in place.

So far, so good.  You can then add your flowers.  I pulled the "flower" part off the stalk and added hot glue to the back piece:

At this time you can also add other embellishments, such as the thinner ribbon (again secure with either a pin or glue), buttons, wooden letters (F-A-L-L).....

.....or of course, a scarecrow!

So give your own creativity a try by wondering through the local dollar store and see what you can come up with, too!

Thanks for stopping by!
