We are participating with these amazing bloggers:

Please visit each blog above to see their very special creations to celebrate the upcoming Fall season!

Now, onto our Dollar Store Craft:

Fall Wreath

Supplies:

One green foam wreath--I used a 10"
Two bundles of silk flowers, Fall colors
One Scarecrow (mine came in a pack of 2 at Dollar Tree and were on wooden dowels which we removed)
Burlap ribbon
Decorative ribbon (I had some on hand that was orange and 1/8" wide)
Straight pins
Hot glue gun and sticks

Begin by wrapping the burlap around the wreath form.  I just used 2 straight pins to hold my burlap ribbon in place:

After that is wrapped, secure the end again with a straight pin.  You can also use hot glue to hold the ribbon in place.

So far, so good.  You can then add your flowers.  I pulled the "flower" part off the stalk and added hot glue to the back piece:

At this time you can also add other embellishments, such as the thinner ribbon (again secure with either a pin or glue), buttons, wooden letters (F-A-L-L).....

.....or of course, a scarecrow!

So give your own creativity a try by wondering through the local dollar store and see what you can come up with, too!

Thanks for stopping by!
