We did take the younger grandkids on the Polar Express recently! We all had a fun time on the Virginia and Truckee Railroad, based in Carson City, NV. A train ride to the North Pole, hot chocolate and a cookie, singing, dancing AND Santa himself!

Hope your holiday season is going well and joyful. I have had all of my shopping done for some time and now I just need to get a package with grandkid gifts sent to Arizona. Now time to bake!

Welcome to Funtastic Friday #518

HAPPY DECEMBER!

Our family has some fun plans for this weekend. We will be taking the two youngest grandkids and their mom, Staci, to ride on the Polar Express train in Carson City, NV. We haven't told the kids what they will be doing, just that instead of a material gift, Grandpa and I are taking them on a Christmas weekend of fun! The train ride on an old steam engine train should be fun; having Santa read all the book Polar Express, while drinking hot chocolate, and receiving their own bell, as in the book/movie. I will post photos next week here and on Facebook/Instagram/X of our little adventure 🎅🎅🎅
