Let's get to this week's party
and all your holiday ideas!
HERE ARE SOME IDEAS FOR FOOD AND DECOR FOR YOUR THANKSGIVING FEAST!
CUTE!
My husband's great-grandfather used to make this in his diner in Payson, Utah, many moons ago. I have been making it since our marriage and the entire family loves it--we all get together on Thanksgiving morning to prepare it. Unless there are too many in the kitchen, then I tell people to get out haha (kidding).
I found this recipe in Parents magazine when I was a young mom. It is a nice alternative to pumpkin pie and it keeps well for several days but probably won't last that long. I make a few of them as Autumn goes on and share with neighbors and co-workers, too.
My DIL made this banner and shared with our blog some years ago. Cute and DIY!
For after-dinner fun, we play this THANKSGIVING BINGO game each year. Sometimes we play multiple rounds of single-line bingo or go for a blackout bingo. It gets pretty competitive! The game shown is available online from Current Catalog (click on hyperlink) but I have seen similar games at stores such as Hobby Lobby. We use my plethora of buttons (many were my mom's) for markers or even dried beans would work. ** not affiliated with Current or Hobby Lobby.
Hobby Lobby and other retailers have the Build-A-Turkey game. We played with our two youngest grandkids (6 and 8) and it was fun and harder to be the first one with a fully built turkey than you would think! If there is a Hobby Lobby in your area, they may have some available--I checked yesterday and online was sold out.
HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING!
