DOLLAR TREE FALL 2020 DIY WREATH

Well, it's time for another DIY wreath!  I try to make 2 or 3 a year and I need to make sure that I pick up supplies when I travel out of town.   Dollar Tree is about two hours away--I like the selection of ribbon and accessories I can find there so whenever I make a run (AKA "road trip") to Reno/Sparks area, I stop in at Dollar Tree.   I also might buy bubble gum for the trip home.....However, you can also order from Dollar Tree (as have I) and have craft supplies delivered right to your home.  Go on, you know you want to take a look :)

Anyway, here are the steps to my Dollar Tree DIY Fall Wreath:

Supplies:

Also, straight pins and a hot glue gun (glue sticks help, too, lol).

Cute ribbon!

CUTE sunflowers!

Make a small fold (about an inch) in the end of the ribbon you will wrap around the foam wreath.  Secure with a straight pin.  You can use the hot glue gun to secure but I began using the pins when I decided I was tired of burning my fingers haha.

After wrapping around the entire wreath, secure again with 1 to 2 pins.

I chose an accent ribbon with adorable owls on it--perfect for Fall!

Then choose your accessories and how you would like them arranged.  I added these fabric leaves....

....cute sunflowers that I hot glued in place over the leaves......

.....and added the scarecrow head as a center.  The stick on the scarecrow can be easily snapped off by hand.  In case you are wondering, I didn't use the little stuffed owl that was displayed in one photo--I will save him for another project.

If you are like me and don't have a local Dollar Tree nearby, don't forget, you can order from them!  What could be better than having your craft supplies delivered right to your door?  Happy shopping and crafting!
