Most Popular Posts of 2016

Here it is, the end of the year.  Years seem to go by faster the older you get--that's my philosophy.  Anyway, philosophy aside, we wanted to share some of our Most Popular posts of 2016.  We do so appreciate your visiting our little blog.  It would be awesome if you would "follow" us and perhaps follow us on Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Bloglovin', or Twitter.  You don't want us to get lonely....Just look up in the right-hand corner and you will find our Social Media Buttons:).  Thanks!

Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake is a quick and tasty dish.  I would make it on Saturdays and serve it with scrambled eggs when my kids were younger.  It is still a delicious treat and makes a fine dessert, serve it warm with ice cream!

Here's another delicious and easy dessert that is quite popular on our blog.  Easy Cherry Crumble is just that--Easy!  With only
three ingredients (four if you add nuts), it is a simple and tasty dish.

I used to see quite a bit more than I have the last few years but still enjoy creating something with fabric.  Staci had her first baby this past Spring and I just had to make Parker a Quick Sew Blanket.  Some flannel, rick rack if you like, and you have a receiving blanket whipped up in a short time.

One of our interests here at Two Chicks and A Mom is health and wellness.  As a registered nurse, I put together a post on Making the Most of Your Doctor Visits.  Regular visits with a healthcare provider are essential to maintaining our health or treating chronic conditions.

One more popular recipe from 2016--Valentine's Day Cake Mix Cookies.  Another super simple recipe, you can make these for everyday or use holiday-colored M and M's to make them festive.  I like to use chocolate cake mix and add white chocolate chips along with semi-sweet chips.

I hope that you found our Most Popular Posts of 2016 helpful, delicious, and informative.  Thank you for stopping by and Happy New Year!
