Funtastic Friday 140 and Hallowen Bats

Funtastic Friday 140 Link Party

Welcome to Funtastic Friday 140!  Ali and I are so excited--Staci and her little guy Parker are coming to visit for 2 weeks!  They will be here in less than 48 hours!  We also found out today that Staci will have a little girl in January--so happy for a new baby in the family, too!

Since Fall is on the way, and some of us like to decorate for Halloween and such, I thought I would share my tutorial for a Hanging Wooden Bat.  Kind of fun to make, too!  I made several for friends and family.

Hello and welcome to Party in Your PJs #170!  We appreciate you stopping by tonight (or today, whatever the case may be).  My week has been a busy one as I do some cleaning and organizing as Staci and little Parker will be here this weekend to spend 2 weeks with us!  So excited!

Let's see what Features we have from last week:

Tumbleweed Contessa  has a delicious recipe for Orange Pound Cake---mmmmm!

Our family loves Oahu--Staci and her husband Jon lived there for a few years!  Sew Travel Inspired has some great ideas of fun (and somber) things to do when visiting Oahu.

Favorite Family Recipe Blog Hop August 2017

Welcome to our "Old or New Favorite Family Recipe" Blog Hop!  Several of us have teamed up to share recipes, old or new, with you and we hope you will visit each blog to see their recipe!

The recipe I am sharing has been in our family for about 30 years.  I had several small children and I didn't have a lot of time to "waste".  I always tried to cook healthy meals and, being a stay-at-home-mom at the time, i succeeded more often than not.
One food my little boys (and my husband) enjoyed eating was homemade bread!  Who doesn't?  This recipe for bread is no knead; basically you just put the ingredients in, mix it up in a mixer or by hand, let rise, transfer to pans, let rise again, and bake!  This recipe generally makes 3 regular size loaves.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to visit the other blogs to try to their recipes, too!
