Two Uses Tuesday 107

Two Uses Tuesday | A Sarah Celebrates link up party showcasing your crafts, diys, recipes and upcycles

All good things must come to an end and as such, Two Uses Tuesday link party will come to an end shortly.  I have truly enjoyed co-hosting with Sarah, Stella, and Pili--wonderful ladies.  In each life, new adventures present themselves and it will be exciting for us to see where they take us!  

There is still plenty of party left for this month, though!  This week's party 107, next week's 108 and then on 12/19 Two Uses Tuesday 109 will have the last regular features from party 108 AND the best of the best from the past year!  Awesome!

Decor of Christmases Past 1

Hello and Merry Christmas!  It's that time of the year when most of us send out husbands into the basement, attic or garage to retrieve the holiday decorations lol.  Ours is actually in an outdoor shed which has an attic and my husband always gets the honors!  

I thought I would share with you some of my own Christmas decorations I have accumulated over the years.  At my age, I have a lot.....I am currently going through decorations and setting some aside for my kids to take.  My "chick" Staci is now living in North Carolina and I have a box of decorations to send her.  Sometimes, you just have too much "stuff".

For this post, I am sharing a wreath the my friend Sheri Renae (she of Sunshine in the Attic) made me years ago.  We have been friends since high school and remain close to this day.  Sheri is very artistic and talented--visit her blog and take a look at her quilting!

Sheri hand painted the wooden shapes on this wreath and I hang it outdoors every year--I could never part with it!

Funtastic Friday 103

Funtastic-Friday-Ad-Sq Welcome to Funtastic Friday 103! It's getting closer to Christmas! Everyone excited?  Our youngest is a teenager but she sure makes certain we continue all our holiday traditions, even if I am old lol.  Fun to see her excitement and that of my grandchildren, too.  Have you seen our festive and easy Felt Santa Stuffed with Goodies tutorial?  These sew together in minutes and with a handful of wrapped candies, you have a great teacher, neighbor, or Secret Santa gift.  Hope you will check it out!
