We are delighted to have a guest blogger today, my daughter-in-law, Billie! She has a cute Thanksgiving banner tutorial to share with you:
Last month I found the cutest Halloween banner at our local
home décor store. Unfortunately, it’s time to put away the Halloween decorations and
I was unable to find a Thanksgiving themed banner to replace it. So, I
decided to whip up my own and share it with all of you!
With some free printables, a little bit of twine or ribbon
and a hole punch, you can quickly craft up your own Thanksgiving Banner!
Ready to get started?
You'll want to use cardstock or a heavier weight paper to print out all three pages of printables:
After printing, carefully cut out each square.
Using a hole punch, put a hole in the top right and left corner of each square. Then begin threading each one onto your twine to create your banner. I picked up some “Natural Polished Hemp” twine at the local Walmart, but you can use whatever you have on hand, including ribbon or yarn. You can choose to use both the turkey and the pumpkin images, pick just one or mix it up – depending on how much room you have and how long you want your banner to be.When you’re done threading your squares, all that’s left is to hang your banner!
I’m pretty happy with how it turned out and now I can dig out the rest of my Thanksgiving décor! Enjoy!Shared as Guest Host for Turn It Up Tuesday!
