HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOU BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY, YOU! 250 YEARS LOOKS GREAT ON YOU!
How will you celebrate our country's semiquicentennial? As I noted last week, we will be in the Salt Lake City area. I did purchase tickets to the Salt Lake Bees baseball game (farm team of the LA Angeles). They have the BEST fireworks after the game so that was what we decided on. Not sure what we will do during the day but will be scouring the internet for fun activities. Still hoping to catch the Hill Air Force Base and Utah National Guard fighter jets/pilots as they fly over various parades and areas starting at 8 a.m. on the 4th!

DeleteHappy Independence Day! We don't have any plans, it seems the weather will not be cooperating with the festivities this weekend and a lot of place already had to cancel/reschedule fireworks. I think I will do a FB search to see what's going on in my area.
ReplyDeleteThat's sad, Amy, but safety first (I'm guessing that may be the reason). We did have a good 4th at the Salt Lake Bees baseball game and it was a very patriotic--military chopper flyover and some great fireworks. Hope you found something fun and festive to do!
