Welcome to the most FUNTASTIC link party on the internet! Thanks to all you talented bloggers/creators for making this party the place to be 😊
My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend with our daughter, Ali Rose. We had good food, nice walks, and fun visits.
Anyone ever drive by the "Ball Tree" on I-80 between Wendover, NV and Salt Lake City?
Ali's cat, Carl, has his own safe space/cabinet. Carl has one eye so if you watched The Walking Dead, you know why his name is Carl.
The Bountiful LDS Temple is beautiful, day or night! The walk around the area is almost a mile.
Bruce hangs in a yard in Bountiful. He has his own Instagram page, @templeview_shark. Kind of fun to come across him, though Ali knew where he was.
Angel Ali in downtown SLC.
Granddog Monty was a pleasure to visit with!
Now THAT is a scone!
And this is a strawberry crepe--yum!
We also went to watch "Coyote vs. Acme" and loved it. Growing up, watching Looney Toons was always on my Saturday list of things to do.
Alright, onto the Features and party 609!

What a nice Labor Day you had. "Carl" is such a fun name for a one eyed cat ha ha. Thanks for the party.
ReplyDeleteAli also rescued another one-eyed cat, who her brother adopted and promptly named "Odin" lol. Thanks for visiting, Amy!
DeleteLooks like you had a wonderful visit with your daughter. It's lovely to have that family time. Thanks so much for the feature for the cozy table setting. Fall is fast approaching and the fall colors are speaking to me. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteLynne, Thrifting Wonderland
Hi Lynne. Yep, Fall colors are lovely--I have my front porch fully decked out in lovely colors, courtesy of pots full of mums! Love your table setting!
DeleteGreat photos - I love the shark in the tree! Here in Florida, occasionally people have "alligators" in the yard.
ReplyDeleteI love it when people decorate their yards with humorous items. I am from Jacksonville originally but haven't been there since 2006. Thanks for joining us, Carol.
DeleteDonna what a great road trip! It has been great to see the sites of your visits, and trips out and about!
ReplyDeleteWe do go a bit but I also love to get back home lol. Thanks for joining us each week, Melynda.
DeleteOh that crepe looks incredible!
ReplyDeleteLove the temple! What delicious yummies, too. Thanks for hosting. It's always fun to join you.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, and thanks for your party, Donna. Happy weekend

Thanks for hosting another Blog Hop party: your road trip post was enjoyable :-)
ReplyDeleteMy husband & I have passed through Salt Lake City many times on our Road Gypsy travels (and also with my 1st husband - we ate lunch in a little restaurant, there and drove past the temple with the golden angel on top); I have a SIL that lives in Wendover, NV) - but I have never seen the "Ball Tree": I'll have to keep my eyes peeled, next time we go that way.
Bruce may be fun to visit - my present husband used to surf in CA, and has seen the Jaws movies … he may get a kick out seeing Bruce: LOL
Granddog Monty is a cutie.
Strawberry anything is usually too sweet for my liking - but that strawberry crepe did look mighty delish.
Thanks for sharing … and have a funtastic week, ahead!
