How was everyone's 4th? We had a pleasant one, a bit quiet, with a few of our kids. I did get to watch a few minutes of the city fireworks--my dog and my 2 granddogs are NOT big fans of fireworks so I mainly stay inside with them. We were all on my bed lol. All is good and the dogs did just fine.
Here they are during the BBQ:
Teddy has minor surgery and the vet suggested a sock to protect the area. My SIL had some ole tie-dye ones.
Aloy wasn't sure about that hat!
Monty thought the hat was okay.

It is July (surprise!) and I was recently asked by a local charity to write a summer-related article for their website. You can find the link HERE.

ReplyDeleteWe lost a dog due to fear of fireworks. He was in his kennel, but somehow managed to escape when he heard the fireworks and ran off and got hit by a car. We were so sad. Thank you for the party.

I didn't see any fireworks this year either. My dog hates fireworks or gun shots or thunder. She paces all over the place when any of that is going on. We were inside keeping the fans on and petting her. Glad you had a nice Fourth despite that though! thank you for hosting the party each week!
