I've been suffering from a cold this week--maybe suffering isn't the correct word as I'm still standing. Just congested, sneezing, and coughing but today i feel much better. It's funny but the 2.5 years I was having chemo or immunotherapy treatments, I didn't catch anything--this is my first cold in 4 years or better. Strange given that my white blood cells were in the dumps for quite a while; shouldn't work that way per my Anatomy & Physiology classes lol. I really plan on writing some posts regarding my cancer "experience", but I keep putting it off--I am not a superstitious person but part of me must worry about "poking the bear," so to speak.
Onto a happier subject--OUR PARTY!
*We have had nice sunny days, then two days of rain. Mother Nature wants to make sure we are ready with the water the farmers in our area need this summer.

Two years of chemo, wow! That must have been hard. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Sorry to hear you've been sick too. I've been hearing a lot of people have colds right now. I got sick twice this winter so I'm hoping to skip this round of illness. :) Thanks for the party.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy. It sure wasn't in my lifetime plans to have cancer but, it is what it is. Just grateful to be here. Yes, I hope that you avoid whatever is going around, too! I do feel better today.
