Welcome to Funtastic Friday #600!
Thanks for joining and sharing with us over the years!
🎉🎉🎉
I did go to Utah on July 3rd. We attended a 4th of July parade in an area of SLC that was on the schedule of the Hill AFB fighter jets' flyover. However, I noted on a Facebook post that the pilots were delayed in getting off the ground that morning; we did wait about 30 minutes past their scheduled appearance at the parade and on our way back to the car, they did flyover but looked to be several blocks away. A bit disappointed but things happen, especially in fighter jets that cost tens of millions of dollars each lol. Respect to those who serve and fly those machines!
We did attend a Salt Lake Bees minor league baseball game on the 4th. They moved to a new stadium a few years ago and so our first time in the America Square stadium. The Bees played the Las Vegas Aviators, the Bees won 9 to 1.
Nothing beats the excitement of a "produce race"!
Except maybe military choppers doing a flyover at the end of the game!
Fireworks after the ballgame!
It was a nice weekend and I love the 4th of July, especially the 250th one! It was a bit bittersweet as we moved our daughter, Ali Rose, to Utah and as her mama, I am inclined to worry a bit and naturally, miss her. We will go back to visit and take a few more items to her soon but having her hours away will be an adjustment, especially for this mama.

I did update a post from 2016 just a bit--UPDATED CAR SEAT CANOPY FOR BABY.
I have a link included with full instructions from the blog I found the post on. I made this one for Parker when he was born in 2016.
Now let's head into the party!

Thank you so much for featuring my friendship card. I so appreciate it. It's hard having a child living from home. I have a daughter who also lives in another state.

Oh, Donna! my mama heart feels for you! It's always hard when our "chicks" leave the nest and move away. Ours is 4+ hours away and while its not a huge distance, I, of course, would love to have her and her family closer! I'm grateful she's happy and thriving! I'll be thinking of you during this transition. Have a good weekend and thanks for hosting us all!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Thanks for this amazing party, Donna. Happy Friday

I remember when my daughter moved for a year. It was exciting for her and tough for me, it's not easy when they're far away. Sending you big mama hugs!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like such a fun 4th of July weekend.
