Abs!

Hey everyone!  I did some ab moves for today's video.  I think being pregnant, abdominal workouts get pushed to the side.  But it's actually really important to keep your core strong!  You may not get a 6-pack but it will help prevent back problems, help make labor somewhat easier and will be extremely helpful while you're recovering.

I started off with in and outs.  Make sure that anytime you are in a c-sit position your hand are in front of or by your butt.  If they are behind you, you get less of a workout in your core because it doesn't have to work as hard.  Depending on how far along you are and how big your baby bump is, in and outs might be hard.  You can always do a 6-inch hold with your legs straight out instead or even bring your legs up and down.  Do 15-20 each set.

The next move is a v-sit.  Same position and your legs are straight as high as you can get them.  If this is too hard, you can modify by keeping one foot on the floor and just doing one at a time. Hold for 10-15 seconds each set.

Next are the Russian twists.  Keep your feet off the ground a few inches, core tight and still, and move your hands/arms from side to side.  Do 15-20 each set.  (That's 1 rep each side!)

Lastly, we have flutter kicks.  Legs out and "flutter" your feet about 6-inches off the ground. Remember to keep those hands by or in front of your butt!  You can even make it harder with no hands for all these moves. :) Do 15-20 each set.  (

Do 4-5 sets of these. Have fun!

Make sure you check with your doctor before attempting any exercise program, especially if pregnant.

Cricut Air Sale!

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

I do have a Cricut Expression and even though it is an older model, I do love it.  It is so handy in embellishing my scrapbooks or making personalized gifts for others.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it's the perfect time to start thinking about making personalized cards and gifts. Instead of cramping up your hand muscles cutting out hearts and cute designs with clunky scissors, save yourself time and elevate your design by using a Cricut Explore Air. Without a doubt, this is the best crafting device available.

It's not only versatile and easy to use, it's also on sale right now at Cricut! You'll be able to get:

$50 off the Cricut Explore Air

✂ $129.95 off the Cricut Explore Air™ Machine + Deluxe Starter Set

$138.94 off the Cricut Explore Air™ Machine + Ultimate Machine Set

$257.78 off the Cricut Explore Air™ Machine + EVERYTHING Starter Set

The Explore Air Machine's Bundle of Benefits
With the Cricut Explore Air™, you can cut over 60 different types of material, including paper, fabric, plastic and vinyl to name a few. The Explore Air also features Cut Smart™ technology, which allows you to cut a wide range of shapes and sizes with exceptional precision, from ¼" tall up to 11½" wide x 23½" tall.

This Cricut Explore machine is called the Air because it has built-in Bluetooth® capability. This means you can use Cricut’s free iPad app and design anything you want from your iPad, just like you would on your home computer, but with the convenience of being able to take your projects with you anywhere. Then, you can just wirelessly send your project from your iPad to your Explore Air to bring it to life.

While the Cricut Explore Air is impressive on its own, purchasing it with one of Cricut's bundle offerings makes it even more valuable. Each bundle comes with different accessories that allow you to expand your creativity and make your crafting projects even more simple and fun to create. Plus, by purchasing your Explore Air with a bundle, you're able to save a bundle in the process!
