Can you believe it's the end of May? This month went so fast! Maybe because it has so much happening--end of the school year, graduations from high schools and colleges, end of the year activities, planning or even taking vacations, etc. So much going on! So, it is almost.....

FUNTASTIC FRIDAY LINK PARTY 541 AND MASON JAR SALAD

Welcome to Funtastic Friday #541! It is Spring but here in Northern Nevada, the weather is a bit off. We had temps close to 80 last week but this week, more in the 50s and low 60s. Mother Nature, make up your mind! Parker, my grandson and Staci's son, will have to have his birthday party indoors as Saturday's forecast calls for a high of 59 and 56% chance of rain. Oh well, such is life lol.

CELEBRATE YOUR GRADUATE WITH DIY FUN

Hello and welcome!

Do you have a graduate or a summer celebration to plan this year? If so, we have a cute gift idea and a table decor idea to share.

DIY PERSONAL GRADUATION PINATAS

are fun and easy to make. I purchased the mini pinatas at my local Walmart but probably could find them at a party store or online, too. I made the two in the photo when our two oldest grandsons graduated; not twins, one graduated a year early!

Click on the directions above or HERE to find what I stuffed them with. They are great as a birthday gift or just a fun "thinking of you" gift for a friend, too.

I made these DIY GRADUATION PARTY CANDLE HOLDERS for my seven kids for their high school graduation parties. Well, not all of them opted to have a party, more of a family dinner, but that's okay, too.

I used small terra cotta pots, acrylic paints, brushes, and a sponge. You can use small candles or LED votive candles as I did. Place on the tables or around the room--nice ambience!

Family celebrations, such as graduation or birthdays, make memories that are cherished long after the day is done. If you are celebrating a child or loved one graduating this year, congratulations and enjoy!
