Our Halloween Costumes - Oriental Trading

Hey everyone!  

It's almost the funnest and happiest time of the year!  HallowThanksMas! At our house we already have our Halloween costumes and couldn't be more excited to wear them when we won't get weird looks for going out and about in them!  Oriental Trading had our backs this year with some great and fun costumes.  It was a perfect fit for our family who loves Star Wars!

Parker (who absolutely steals the show in these pictures), will be R2D2 this year and we honestly cannot resist his cuteness when he's wearing it.  He's wearing a 12-24 months (he's 15 months) and it fits loosely which is perfect because he does a lot of running around!  Then of course there is the cute little cap it comes with.  He may not be old enough to understand what we are doing but everyone gets to say "aw" when they see him in it!  If you are interested in getting this costume for your little one, check it out here: R2D2 Halloween Costume for Toddler

Jon is dressing up as a storm trooper!  He got some fun looks rolling around with his helmet on and we had some good laughs.  His costume is a Large (he's 5'11 and 180 lbs.).  He said it was a comfortable fit but the material also made it easy to move around.  If you're interested you can check this out here:  Men's Deluxe Star Wars Stormtrooper Costume

As for me, I'm going as Princess Leia!  My main reason for going as her is I'm about 6 months pregnant now so I'll be even bigger at Halloween and this outfit is so comfy and will gladly go over my growing belly.  I also am wearing a Large (I'm 5'7 and pregnant so weight doesn't matter haha).  The wig is the most fun part of course!  It looks just like hers.  This also comes with the belt that you just tie on.  You can find this here: Women's Adult's Princess Leia Costume

We had a lot of fun wearing these (even in September) and can't wait to wear them again at Halloween!  Oriental Trading has a lot of other Star Wars costumes and other movies, tv shows, or whatever else your kid might want to dress up as!  So click on that link above and go check them all out!  Let us know in our comments what you are planning on going as!
