Easy Nautical Wreath

Each season I try to make a new wreath--one that goes on my baby boy's headstone.  I have used small cars, little Christmas ornaments, silk flowers, and many more items to make these wreaths, as my way of letting him know I remember him each day.

I'm a little late in making one for summer but I finally got to it this past week.

I usually have a styrofoam wreath from a dollar store on hand, plus some ribbon or burlap.  I found these cute wooden marine creatures at Hobby Lobby and loved the look of them.

The wreaths are quite simple to make and you can find the tutorial HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Those wood sea creatures are so cute on your wreath! Your wreath would look so sweet in a nautical themed kids room.

    1. Thanks--yes, my son-in-law is in the Coast Guard so my daughter does actually decorate her kids' (at least currently)rooms with a coastal theme :).
