I am pretty well-prepared for Halloween: Full-sized candy bars--check
Treats for little ones: check
Mini-sized candy bars (for back-up)
Costume for poodle Teddy: Ideas are being considered
Pumpkin carved: No, but it has been assigned to #4 son
How are your Halloween preparations going? It is nice that it is on a Saturday, too.
Saturday is also Nevada Day! On October 31, 1864, Nevada became a state. Our state motto is "Battle Born", being that Nevada was admitted to the Union during the Civil War. Many businesses, state offices and schools are closed tomorrow in celebration of Nevada Day (the last Friday in October is the legal day off for Nevada Day). Federal offices will be open, though. Condolences to Nevada's Federal employees lol.

ReplyDeleteThat snack mix looks so yummy! We're all ready... but only because we have nothing to get ready. We have never gotten a single trick or treater in 23+ years of living here. Some years I wish we did as I used to love passing out candy when I was growing up but most years I'm happy to just ignore Halloween as it was never my favorite holiday.
